Online Registration

Online registration is now closed although there will still be limited on the day registration.

List of Registered Walkers:
Registration

Day of the walk

Registration opens at 7:30am in the Royal Legion Workington. It is recommended that you do not arrive too much before this time! It is also worth noting there is also limited parking at the start so you may need to park a distance away.

Pre-registered

There will be a list of pre-registered walkers near the entrance to the legion so you know which desk to go to (1-50, 51-100 and 101+). At the desk you will be asked to confirm, or change if needed, your emergency contact information. You will also be asked how much sponsorship you have raised (your pledge) and then issued with your walkers’ card and walkers number.

On the day registration

This year we are having a very limited number of on the day entries as it is becoming too difficult to deal with the influx of people on the morning of the walk. To avoid disappointment we highly suggest you pre-register. If you change your mind and decide not to do the walk for whatever reason, that is fine and let us know as soon as possible.

If you register on the day you will need to complete a full registration form and donate the £40 minimum sponsorship up front although you are encouraged to raise more after the event. Once registered you will then be issued with a walker number, a walkers’ card.

“Departure Desk” – Start Time

This year we will have a separate signing out desk to make it easier for you to leave with friends and avoid the rush to leave immediately.

When you are ready to go and have all your group together go to the “Departure Desk” your start time will be recorded and your long walk to Keswick will begin!

If you plan to run the route please consider setting off after 8:00am to give us time to set up the later checkpoints. Faster runners have arrived before later checkpoints have been set up in the past.
